Welcome to Maand Up – A Gathering Place in the Heart of Fremantle
Named by respected Elder Professor Len Collard, Maand Up directly translates to “gathering place”—a fitting name for a tranquil oasis in the heart of Fremantle.
For tens of thousands of years, the Whadjuk Nyoongar people have called this area Walyalup, a place of deep social, spiritual, and cultural significance. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of this land and pay our respects to Elders past and present. Thank you for giving us what we now know as Fremantle.

Located on the ground floor, the Pool Side King Suite offers direct views of our stunning infinity pool. This spacious room features a luxurious King bed, smart TV, free WiFi, fridge, tea & coffee facilities with a dedicated work desk. Step outside to enjoy your private courtyard sitting area — perfect for relaxing outdoors.
The suite’s modern bathroom includes dual vanities, a separate toilet, a walk-in shower, and an additional outdoor shower for a unique open-air experience.
Located on the first floor, the Pool View King Suite offers direct views of our stunning infinity pool. This spacious air-conditioned room features a luxurious King bed, smart TV, free WiFi, fridge, tea & coffee facilities with a dedicated work desk. The suite’s modern bathroom includes dual vanities, a separate toilet and a walk-in shower.
Located on the first floor, the Pool View King/Twin Suite offers direct views of our stunning infinity pool. This spacious air-conditioned room features a luxurious King bed, sofa, smart TV, free WiFi, fridge tea & coffee facilities with a dedicated work desk. The suite’s modern bathroom includes dual vanities, a separate toilet, and a walk-in shower.
On request this room can be made up to accommodate two guests in separate single beds.
